Scandinavian Hydrogen Highway Partnership
The Scandinavian Hydrogen Highway Partnership (SHHP) was established in 2006, when the different Nordic hydrogen organizations joined forces to coordinate the market introduction of hydrogen cars and HRSs to the Nordic market.
Hydrogen Denmark is an association that organises all stakeholders in the field of hydrogen and fuel cells. For the past 15 years we have represented a vast variety of members each of whom are widely recognised for their expertise. Denmark has always been one of the world’s leading champions of sustainability and innovative energy solutions. The Danish commitment to renewable energy has paved the way for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies as the natural next step in the green transition.
Icelandic New Energy
The company was formed in 1999 following a declaration from the Government of Iceland declaring (in 1998) that Iceland would like to explore the possibility of exchanging from a fossil fuel paradigm in transport to utilising hydrogen. The company was formed as a public private partnership with key players from Iceland (current shareholders) and Daimler AG, Shell International (Shell Hydrogen) and Norsk Hydro (later Statoil).
Norwegian Hydrogen Association
The Norwegian Hydrogen Forum (NHF) was founded in 1996 as a nonprofit members’ association for conveying and promoting the advantages of hydrogen as an energy carrier in Norway. Our more than 60 members span Norwegian industry, universities, research institutes and other organizations engaged or otherwise interested in hydrogen.

Hydrogen Sweden is a Public Private Partnership with members and financiers from industry, NGO’s and local, regional and national government. The PPP was founded in January 2007 and promotes a balanced and pragmatic approach to hydrogen. Hydrogen Sweden is non-profit, includes circa 50 members at the moment.
